Streamlined Connection Process for Google Workspace Integration
During the Proof of Concept (POC) demo, our onboarding specialist will guide you through the connection process, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup. This involves using the Google Cloud Platform (free version) to connect OAuth to our platform, allowing for secure and seamless integration with Google Workspace. Below is a step-by-step guide that our specialist will follow to get you started:
- Create a Project in Google Cloud Platform: Log into the Google Cloud Platform and create a new project dedicated to the integration. This will serve as the foundation for setting up OAuth credentials.
- Enable the Google Workspace API: Navigate to the 'APIs & Services' dashboard within your project. Search for and enable the Google Workspace API to ensure that your application can interact with Google Workspace.
- Configure OAuth Consent Screen: Set up the OAuth consent screen by providing the necessary information about your application. This screen will be shown to users when they first authenticate with Google Workspace through our platform.
- Create OAuth Credentials: In the 'Credentials' section, create OAuth 2.0 Client IDs. These credentials will be used to authenticate the integration between your Google Workspace and our platform securely.
- Test the Connection: Finally, under the supervision of our onboarding specialist, test the connection to ensure everything is configured correctly and that there is seamless communication between Google Workspace and our platform.
